We have been living the life of Riley in Villa La Dolce Vita for
the past three weeks: our stay has been truly delightful. The villa
is equipped with everything one could possibly ask for and provides
for a superbly comfortable vacation. As far as we are concerned this
will not have been our last stay in La Dolce Vita, nor can we think
of any suggestions to make the villa even better. Our thanks go to
family Geerdink, for making possible these three lovely weeks of
living only in the present. And to the next visitors: have a great
time!
D & Y And tiny
i.u. from D (The Netherlands) P
S: We can
heartily recommend a visit to the city of La Rochelle; it’s only an
hour and a half by car, and a wonderful place.

Well
what can one add, without recycling the same old cliché’s, to a
guestbook in which so many words of praise have already been written
by previous visitors? For one thing: that no single word has been an
exaggeration. We have enjoyed a typically delightful family
vacation. We felt at home straightaway; especially for a family with
small children, the villa provides all the ingredients for a
successful holiday: - Plenty of places to visit and things to do in
the area. - A top-class and perfectly safe swimming pool, even for
our children (one and four years of age). - Two weeks of great
weather, with only one day of rain and strong winds. - An absolutely
comfortable villa with every little detail provided for: books,
barbecue, audio and video installation, internet, PS2 gaming system,
toys, terrace heating, fatboy, etc.
In addition to all the comforts
of the villa we have also made many great day-trips. The following
are heartily recommended: - A bicycle tour through the region
(child’s saddles are available for rent at the reception). - A visit
to Nantes. - A visit to the Ocedrium in Croisic (even though it is a
pretty long drive). - A visit to the bird observatory in Marzis (and
a stroll through the adjoining salt marshes). - A visit to Ile
Penotte and Sables. - Taking a walk through the Forêt Domiuiste
d’Olonne. At the end of the day it is also great to simply sit
outside and have a barbecue with a glass of French wine, or to swim
in the pool. It does get slightly chilly in the evening (around 59
degrees Fahrenheit), but the terrace heating makes it perfectly
agreeable. If the canisters are empty, they can be exchanged for €
13 at the filling station of the supermarket Géant, or at the little
grocery store Huit à 8. A manual can be found in the information
folder of La Dolce Vita.
If you are lucky, you may also see, besides
the many slugs, a little lizard, a big toad, a frog, or a hedgehog.
Until now we have never visited the same holiday accommodation
twice, since we always wanted to see new things every year, but La
Dolce Vita might just become the exception to this rule…
Our thanks
for the hospitality, and kind regards to family Geerdink, J, BJ, J,

We have had a great
time! We were very lucky with the weather: temperatures of around
88 degrees Fahrenheit and only one cloudy day, Only five minutes
after our arrival the children had already jumped into the pool. The
weather was pleasantly warm at around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and we
spent many an hour at the pool side: we had a very relaxing
vacation. We also did some things though: visited the zoo in Les
Sables d’Olonne (pretty, but also quite small); went on a boat trip
from Les Sables (for those who have sea legs!), visited Noirmoutier
(wonderfully quite island) and of course also did some very
enjoyable walking in the area. We hope everyone who will visit the
villa in the future will have a terrific time here!

We have had two
great weeks with wonderful weather at a superb location.
Last year we also
went to this parc, but this year we have chosen this particularly
villa because of its great location with lots of privacy.
Our children were
very fond of the playstation and fatboy.
After a week we
finally discovered the switch of the pool lighting
(it’s in the
shed, on the left side at the back, one of the two black buttons),
after which we were able to enjoyed it also in the evenings.
We can recommend
the horse races which are held each Wednesday and Saturday night;
for only two dollar you can place a bet, which is really exciting
and great fun.
We have had a
great time and wish the next guests an equally delightful vacation.
Family Geerdink, you sure are lucky with such a wonderful spot!
Kind regards,
Family W. from B

For the past two
weeks we have enjoyed this wonderful villa. Unfortunately time flies
like the wind up here, there’s so much to do: loafing near the pool,
taking a stroll along the boulevard, visiting the many shops near
the sea and in the city centre, or simply savouring the beautiful
scenery.
There’s no
shortage of good food either. Apart from the many restaurants, we can
recommend supermarket (hypermarché) "Géant" for the home cooks among us, since it
has a great variety of products!
Our thanks to
family Geerdink for allowing us to rent this accommodation for this
summer, and we are certainly thinking of coming back here.
Have a long and
sunny vacation,
Kind regards,
Family de B,
Veerte, Chris, Evelien, Lore and Brecht, from Belgium.

Today is our last
day in Villa La Dolce Vita.
We have had great weather all our stay. Partly for that reason, we
have blissfully done nothing all the time. Wonderful to have a week
of absolutely nothing to do. Every morning I have taken my young son
to the warm bakery to buy croissants and french bread, and after
breakfast we spend the day sunbathing at the pool. We had dinner at
the restaurant of the parc as well as in Les Sables d’Olonne. The
food was excellent and all week we have enjoyed this beautiful
villa. We have never before spend our vacation in such a comfortable
and complete holiday home.
The garden
provides great privacy and looks wonderful too. We even spotted a
few little lizards in the garden, beautiful little animals.
Kind regards,
Family Traas

Dear family Geerdink,
We really looked
forwards to this vacation and it went by very quickly. We have had
two gorgeous weeks with only one rainy day. We spent many delightful
hours at the pool, which gradually heated up to a temperature as
high as 25 degrees Celsius. We also paid the ocean some visits, went
swimming once in the pool on the Remblai, breakfasted on the
seashore, visited the aquarium (le septieme continent), which was
wonderful but not very big. Our little daughters, aged 3 and 5,
found the shark especially thrilling. We also had dinner in La Scala near the waterside,
where, as in most of the other restaurants near the sea, the food
was delicious and well-priced. We also made a visit to the parc ‘La Beliere Loisies,’ an amusement
parc for all ages; this was somewhat of a disappointment because of
the lack of safety measures on most of the attractions.
We also
discovered ‘chichi’! This is a delicious snack, somewhat like
fritters, in the shape of a long and thick piece of chips and sold
in a cone-shaped paper bag.
Your holiday home
is very comfortable and we felt at home from the first minute we
entered the villa. The garden is beautiful too!
The four of us
will keep many fond memories from this fantastic vacation!
Kind regards,
Family R-G, Jouri,
Marion, Elena and Mauri, from Belgium

A month ago we
were constantly checking the weather on the website of Chateau
d’Olonne. Cloudy, rain, barely 16 degrees Celsius. We were naturally
worried that the weather might not clear up in time for our
vacation. Perhaps we should have chosen to fo to the
Provence
instead?
How we were
wrong. We have had a week of the best weather that someone who loves
the sun can wish for. On our first day temperatures were as high as
27 degrees Celsius, and they kept rising throughout the week.
We are hear with
three ladies and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. This is a
great villa with everything provided for. We truly have nothing to
ask for.
We also haven’t
felt at all inclined to make day-trips: the house and garden
themselves are beautiful enough for us. We also wondered about the
name ‘Geerdink’, it just has to be a family from the Dutch region of
Twenthe. We know a Ton, Harro and Loes Geerdink, perhaps they are
family of yours? This mystery will surely be solved..
We have so much
enjoyed this vacation in the Vendée that we will certainly return
some time in the future to villa number 114 of this beautiful parc.

Dear family
Geerdink,
Our family is
over: tomorrow will will leave for the Netherlands.
The time flew by,
the past 14 days, and that is a sure sign of how much we enjoyed our
stay.
On May the 9th
around half past one we entered Les Sables d´Olonne by car and
quickly saw:
Les Jardins du Chateau d’Olonne, nr 114. At the reception everything
was explained to us and we were very excited about seeing the
holiday home. Then suddenly we saw it:
La Dolce Vita.
We felt great
about this villa right from the start. At 4 am our children arrived,
our daughter with her husband and their two sons, Joep who is four
months old and Hidde who is two years old. Then everything was
complete.
From the first to
the last moment of our vacation we have have enjoyed the French way
of life. We swam a great deal, went bycicling, golfing, and had
great dinners. We haven’t seen everything yet and we certainly
intend to return to this villa,
Kind regards,
Grandparents E.
and L. V, our children and grandchildren.
5-9-2009.
This was our
First vacation in
France. The language was a bit
difficult in the beginning, but with lots of patience and sign
language we got by in the end. We really enjoyed the villa and the
swimming pool.
Everything was
clean and tidy, wonderful!
The pool was
great for the children. A little snake also discovered; we saved it
and set it free again outside.
Weather was fine,
Kind regards,
Family B.

Dear Family Geerdink,
On Saturday the 25th of May we arrived in Villa
La Dolce Vita, and we have really
enjoyed our stay here. The villa is every bit as beautiful as the
wonderful pictures on the website indicate. Unfortunately,
especially in the beginning of our week here, the weather was not as
perfect. Although the temperatures themselves were fine, there were
also quite a bit of clouds and showers around. Luckily the weather
cleared up quickly the second half of the week. We have made a
stroll along the coast, visited Decouverte du marais poitevin
maillezais for a day and also paid a visit to the Zoo des Sables
d’Olonne. The rest of the week we simply enjoyed being together
around the villa. We can heartily recommend Villa
La Dolce Vita to every potential
visitor,
Kind regards,
Richard and Annegrid
4-23-2009
Dear Family Geerdink,
For the past two weeks we have had the pleasure
of staying at your beautiful villa and enjoying the wonderful
region. Every evening we paid a short visit to the Atlantic Ocean to
feel the refreshing breeze and stroll along the coast. This has been
a vacation we will remember fondly for a long time, and we will
certainly considering returning to Villa
La Dolce Vita sometime in the
future,
Cor and Marja from Amsterdam

We are thankful to read all your reactions.
Wherever possible we will fulfil your wishes and add a free surprise
in 2009! Last week was bright and sunny. Due to the new pool heating
(pompe a challeur) the water temperature rose quickly from 16 to 22
degrees Celsius. The garden has been made ready for the winter
and all terraces have been thoroughly cleaned. We have made some
nice trips, for example on the bike to Bourgenay, to Les Sables and
to the pavilions on Village Vendee Globe and Port Olona. The sailing
race will start the ninth of November: Terrific boats! The kids had
a great time too: Our son Rik even sailed with the three dimensional
simulator.

At this moment we are sitting on the terrace
and enjoying that last French sunshine (in October(!)). We have had
three marvellous weeks, with equally pleasant weather. We can only
agree with all the previous entries: we are as enthusiastic as all
the others and we are bound to feel homesick for this place, but
that’s a price we gladly pay. We are already planning for next year
and we will certainly come back to this place and this villa. Going
to be a short night, early up in the morning and then back to our
“own” island Terschelling. See you next year (we hope)!
Kind regards I and H B
Comments Fam Geerdink: The Schylger
Jutters-Bitter was a wonderful surprise. We enjoyed it very much.
9-10-2008
Bonjour fam. Geerdink! Two days before our
departure for Ede, we can rightfully say we are living like three
Gods in France! It is great to stay in this villa, with all possible
comforts, even for a little 10 months old girl. She has enjoyed
playing outside and trying the pool (for the first time). As for us?
Well, what wasn’t great… At the most a slightly moist first week but
the sunny second week was plenty recompensation for that! So we were
really lucky with the weather for this time of the year. Made some
trips, for example to St Gilles-Croix de fie, such a nice little
town. Les Sables was good as well, had a nice dinner on the beach,
“le Club de Sable”, while the sun set. What else can one ask? Really
worth it. We were lucky with parking, and had no problems. If we are
to return to this region we won’t have to think about the best pace
to stay. Tomorrow our last day, hopefully with some afternoon sun,
but we learned that you never know what the weather will bring here…
Then off to pack our bags and back to our home sweet home. All the
best with your wonderful villa. Kind regards, I, M & R van F

PS A recommendation for the inventory: a pan to
grill, which always comes in use with so much fresh fish nearby. It
’s the only thing we missed… Comments Fam Geerdink; In October we
have bought a special pan to grill fish and a large frying pan as
well as a pan for baking crepes and some other equipment helpful for
preparing fish.

We have had a truly delightful two week
vacation. The villa offers every comfort and sitting in the garden
at the pool is terrific. Enjoying the calm, the privacy, the smell
of lavender, the beautiful changing skies, the faraway views, the
clear starry nights (even the milky way was visible) and the
beautiful beaches, (though the ocean’s pull is treacherous when it’s
windy, near Bourgenay two persons were only just saved from certain
drowning). Les Sables itself is very enjoyable, though it’s hard to
find parking. In the end we had a reasonable amount of sunny days
and now the barometer reads 27 degrees Celsius; nights are rather
colder. Wonderful to feel the calm and spaciousness. To round off:
we had a terrific vacation and return fully relaxed and recharged to
Harderwijk. Thanks for the stay; we’ll be glad to return one day to
this life “as a God in France”. J,A, M and T J from Harderwjk

This was our first stay in the Vendée, and we
have been suprised by its many sides. The nature is beautiful, great
beaches, rough rock formations and dense forests. Les Sables equally
has many different faces, especially the boulevard is grand and
unique! Every night there were acts on four or five different
locations. During our first week we visited La Rochelle, which was almost
an hour’s drive, but a fine day trip. Canoing in Les Saliness is
also recommended. Who will beat our national record of 60 minutes
(to the bridge and back)? The aquarium is as beautiful as it is
small. The Hyppodrome is a nice horseracing venue; last Thursday
there were two Dutch jockeys: Erik Dracht came in second but Jan van
Dooierwaard had to return to his home in Hoofddorp without a prize.
The highpoint of our vacation was your wonderful villa. What a
comfort, truly everything has been thought of. Congratulations on
the wonderful garden a well. Too bad it got too cold at night to
make it late. Tomorrow we will leave and have a couple of days
Paris. Fam. Geerdink, we enjoyed your hospitality. All the best for
the future,
P,R,J,B and D K

It’s still dark; everything is still asleep.
Not us, because we will be heading homeward soon towards the Dutch
province Overijssel. We had a delightful vacation. The villa was
very nice and the garden beautiful. As of now I’m still a tad
sleepy, but I did want to enter something into the guestbook. This
region, the Vendée, was new to us. I’m all for coming back one time.
It’s not as busy as the core d’azur, and it’s wonderful to do
cycling. We rented some bikes and went both to the north and to the
south, which was well worth the ride. Towards evening we often went
for the pleasant business of Les Sables d’Olonne. Then the bikes
were convenient too, for parking was almost impossible. In the
harbour are many nice restaurants, with often the pleasant surprise
of street musicians. Thanks a lot, it was great. Now we are
heading for home and our poor dog which we missed terribly.
Fam. N te H
Comments Fam Geerdink: Glad you had a good
time. Feel free to bring the dog a next time.
7-3-2008
After a long, traffic-jammed journey the kids
immediately went for the pool and forgot the tiresome trip. The
garden was in full flower and the lavender smelled deliciously! The
villa is comfortable, clean and comes with everything that might be
needed. The first four days we had great weather and swam in the sea
(as well as of course in the pool). Wednesday was rainy and we went
to the marine aquarium. We were away often. We have lost our skin
burns and will be nicely browned on our way back home. Thanks for
the stay, and to the next visitors: we wish you a sunny and pleasant
stay.

These three weeks once more passed like a
summer breeze. It’s delightful here; the garden is among the park’s
most beautiful gardens and the Vendee is still enjoyable after
several visits. We discover new things each time we come. A great
time! Rob and Margreet S
PS a new cutting block might be
handful
Comments Fam Geerdink: the cutting block has been
replaced and we also bought a wooden cheese plate with a compatible
cheese knife.

We had a great week, enjoying
the gorgeous garden and great villa. The soft climate and delightful
sea breeze are equally delightful. The park is a haven of rest and
the private pool great for relaxation. We had a great time in the
region and in a couple of its restaurants were we got excellent
multiple course dinners at a bargain. One to remember is “Le Petit
Cator”, which is within walking distance of the park. The restaurant
“le Ferme Villeneuve” is another one to recommend. In Les Sables
d’Olonne we were served deliciously by the cook of restaurant
“l’Affiche”, near the fishing harbour (at Quai Guinné 21; there is
parking near the Casino in the centre of the bay). The villa’s
interior is exceedingly well furnished, with great love-seats to
relax and enjoy each other in, a beautiful LCD screen TV set with
multiple Dutch channels via Canal Digital. And, not to forget,
aspiring cooks and fish lovers can find a roofed market at the end
of the boulevard; “Les Halles” is a smaller version of the halls in
Paris.

This was our first time in the Vendée. So far
we always went to the Languedoc, Provence or the Cote d’Azur. This
really is a wonderful, relaxed region. Les Sables holds its own
among the large Mediterranean seaside resorts. A few days in the
middle of our stay we had to cope with unpleasant weather, but these
were just the days we went on trips. The weather is in any case most
unpredictable here. It can be wet and rainy in the morning and
bright and sunny in the afternoon. Your villa is very comfortable,
the Dutch TV channels are good to have for our daughter, lying on
the Fatboy, and the garden is in great shape indeed. As for privacy
we really think your plot is the best one of the park. We certainly
plan to return to the Vendée, and perhaps even to ‘La Dolce Vita’!

Thanks a lot for your hospitality the last two
weeks in your luxurious villa. For our children this was their first
vacation abroad. They were delighted. The warm pool, buying bread
ourselves (by pointing), being able to thank the folks with Merxi,
enjoying the wild Atlantic, getting used to a different rhythm of
life and savouring new tastes. The region offered more than
sufficient delight. Also we as parents truly enjoyed our stay. We
would love to come back in the future.

We had a great time the last ten days, enjoyed
your villa and the wonderful weather, This was our first vacation
with the three of us, having had our first son earlier this year. So
it was an exciting time to go on holiday. Upon arrival we
immediately felt at home: everything was clean and gorgeous. Also
the furniture for our child was there: the children’s chair, bed and
playpen. The great Relaxing (capitalized) was about to start. We
accordingly spent little time outside the park, because it was
delightful to be at our own pool, which was nice and warm from the
solar collectors. Our son had his own little bed to sleep in so
everything was just perfect. Weather was wonderful from our arrival
untill our lat day today. We wish you all the best in your Villa,
and hopefully we will be able to stay another time: we will be sure
to spread the word.

We again had a delightful two weeks’ stay,
enjoying the Villa and the region. Unfortunately the weather was
less than good the last week But a bright sunny day for departure.
We hope it will stay for the next guests’ enjoyment.
6-26-2007
According to plans we were going to stay until
the 28th, but the weather came in the way the last few days. So it
wasn’t because of the villa (a fit name) that we left earlier. We
enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back in September! A new
restaurant has appeared on the coastal road to the centre: Anguila
Beach. Dinner is great and affordable and the personnel are very
kind. Being Dutch, one has to find something to complain of: a
dry-cleaner would be convenient, although one can also enjoy the
stay without one (this is more of a joke). You can play some great
golf courts here as well. Talmont is worth a visit;
La Rochelle is good for a daytrip, but most
attractive is still the boulevard. Great bars and restaurants. For
ourselves we already used the grill a couple of times. To round off:
we are fully relaxed again and already look forward to September.
Regards, F and R and H and C

I felt at home from the moment I entered this
Villa. Bessel actually thinks there are too much Dutch tourists
around here, but I just love it. Bessel is now starting to enjoy the
villa more and more, beds are great, so is the pool, it’s very calm
(only the park’s regulation come across as a bit too aggressive,
there are 20 euro fines for everything, but that’s not your fault).
Great sofa, wonderful garden and already quite a bit of privacy.
Today we went to cycle along the coast, which was wonderful!! The
Fatboy really is great to sit or lie on. I already saw it in
Holland. If I don’t enjoy the rest of the week there must be
something wrong with me.
Greetings from T and B from V and H
PS Suggestion: place a bidet (there is enough
space). Still wanted to let you know it was a splendid week. Great
cycling routes.
We had a great time and are sure to return.
6-1-2007
We had a good weekend. Weather was changing a
lot but we still got some swimming done. We went to
ndian forest - accrobranche - parcours d'aventure
Indian Forest - indian forest - accrobranche - parcours d'aventure ,
which is terrific for children! The garden is just gorgeous: the
lavender is now starting to bloom and the smell is delicious. We had
a great time again and look forward to our next stay.

Stayed at the villa during New Year festivities
for the first time, and it proved a success. The weather was fine,
and we saw the sun reasonably often. We did some walking in the
woods and over the beach, which is great to feel the wind blow. We
also swam in the indoors pool at the end of the boulevard in Les
Sable (near the gambling hall), which is a salt water pool. We
really enjoyed being here, for a change, in the winter.

This has been a great week off, with very good
weather for the season. We even went to the beach twice, and the
kids were delighted. Also tried the pool but our eldest daughter was
right that it was too cold. We further experienced how life will be
in this park the coming years, for we rented nr … and used this week
also for some practical businesses. We went through the building
options and thus our stay in your villa gave us some new ideas, for
example the in-between door, the second bathroom and your wonderful
bath room tiles. Other than that, also the Fatboy was great,
especially for the kids (aged 2 and 4), as were the other toys in
the villa! We enjoyed our stay and hope to do likewise the next
time. We wish the family Geerdink all the best with their villa and
hope to see them again,

Had a great week
in this comfortable villa. Great weather, temperatures above 20
degrees celsius. Only too bad that the pool could not be used, it
was just too cold. The ocean was gorgeous and worth a visit every
day. Had dinner on the lit-up boulevard a couple of times, and
cycling home in a shirt flanked by the lightened boulevard and the
ocean was a great experience each time. We did a lot of walking,
drove the car up-coast to La Rochelle
(wonderful town) and St. Gilles Croix de Vie (gorgeous beach) and
did a lot of relaxing by the pool. Too bad the week’s over so fast.
This is an ideal place to spend a week of after-summer days. Written
at 5 am on the sunlit terrace.

We had a great three weeks. The first was
wonderfully sunny, the second rainy and the third beautiful again.
We used the pool the first week at 23 degrees Celsius, but the other
days water temperature was 19 degrees.
Regards, Fam C.
Comments Fam Geerdink:
Thanks for your comments.
Since 2006 we
have placed free solar collectors on the driveway and since 2008 we
have added an additional electrical pool heating so that the water
keeps its temperature through the seasons.

A wonderful vacation and a beautiful villa. We
had a great time. Fine weather, beautiful skies and beaches. Might
not have been our last time!
Kind regards, Fam B from E.
8-16-2006
We enjoyed the villa these two weeks by
ourselves. A pleasant surprise, the way the plants have grown sinds
the end of May. Especially during the first week the pool was at a
great 26 degrees Celsius. The last few days it cooled down due to
rainfall. Putting the covering over at night did help. We went with
the children to Indian Forest, were they could climb and play in the
trees, which they loved. We also visited the midget golf park near
the beach of Bourgenay. The kids rode the entire way on bicycle,
which was hard on the way back, baecuse of advert winds, but they
did it anyway. The botanical garden was less to their taste. Other
than this we just enjoyed the pool and relaxed. We hope the next
guests will be just as comfortable. We cleaned the shed again and
refurbished the barbecue, which is free to use. There is coal for
starters, but not a great deal.
All the best and
enjoy your stay!

A gorgeous villa, with a great pool, “living as
a God in France” becomes true. For us it was a real relaxing
vacation, so we did not do too much. The region will be left to
explore during a next visit. Everything was perfectly taken care of;
anytime we needed anything the reception was quick to lend a hand.
Next time everything will probably be finished. We wish you for now
a great vacation yourselves. The sun is out again!

Together with the Dutch national footballteam (too
bad…) we have to be going home. We felt very much at home in this
cosy, comfortable villa, and were in love with the beautiful garden,
terrace and swimming pool. We were looking forward to our stay here
together. Very beautiful and worth a commendation to family
Geerdink. There’s an end to everything, although not, unfortunately,
to the construction works in progress in the adjacent villas.
Nonetheless we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to see the
final result of all the work and of the plants’ growth. They have
really thrived, and the result is already well worth it.
D and O B
Comments Fam. Geerdink: These
were the problems at the start. As of 2008 the garden has fully
developed and building activities have been stopped within a 200 metres radius. In
2009 the park will be completely finished and then also the last
thirty villas will become available.
6-10-2006
Alas, it’s over again, the two weeks of Villa La Dolce Vita! Now we
really understand what is meant by “living as a God in France”!
We enjoyed ourselves, and so did our 2,5 years old twins. The beach,
the ocean, the zoo (not very large but still really nice), and the
playgrounds on the park were all much to our taste. The private pool
was also great, with a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius on the last
day. For two days there is now also a covering which prevents the
water at night from cooling down more than one degree. We wish
everyone who has the luck to be able to stay here a great vacation.
We, for one, will certainly return,

Comment by Fam. Geerdink: Thanks for your
comments. Since
2006 we have placed free solar collectors on the driveway and since
2008 we have added an additional electrical pool heating so that the
water keeps its temperature through the seasons.

We were invited already in 2005, and last
Sunday we were warmly welcomed to stay a couple of enjoyable days.
We enjoyed the wonderful villa, tastefully furnished. The garden and
pool were only partly finished, but we look forward to seeing the
pictures when it is entirely finished. Been to the castle in Talmont
St. Hilaire which was beautiful. The boulevard and ocean were
certainly to our taste. Nice terrace and we were able to teach the
waiter a few Dutch words. So, great days and pleasant weather! Thank
you very much and we wish you all the best in the beautiful Villa La Dolce Vita.

Ours was the honour to be the first guests to
stay in this beautiful villa. Although not everything was entirely
finished, we still very much enjoyed our stay. The calm, sounds of
birds, frogs and crickets were all very pleasant. We always love to
visit old castles and certainly had our fill: we visited Chateau
la Guinardiere (castle and rock formations), the
Donjon in Bazoges and Pareds, the castle of Noirmoutier, and a few
others. Our daughters were pleased that many people in the park
can speak Dutch, that there were Dutch TV-channels and that near the
big supermarkets there was a MacDonalds. We wish future guests a
plesant stay.
